Palo Alto Networks Officially Launches Fuel User Group
Palo Alto Networks has announced the official launch of a new global community for sharing best practices among security professionals across multiple industries.
Members of the Palo Alto Networks Fuel User Group will be able to partake in regular interactions with Palo Alto Networks technology leaders. Furthermore, Fuel will provide security professionals with exclusive, timely, and educational opportunities for peer and industry expert engagement.
The company, a leader in enterprise security, has also said that members of the community will have access to leadership opportunities and community-developed educational resources to further their knowledge and careers in cyber security.
First conceptualised in 2014, Fuel is a non-profit initiative from Palo Alto Network, which has been designed to offer a helping hand for organisations needing to get a better grasp on the constantly evolving cyber threat landscape. As the risk of cyber attacks increases every day, it is vital that security teams are equipped to tackle the threats they face; Fuel will enable them to share knowledge and practices to that end.
Scott Gainey, head of product marketing at Palo Alto Networks, commented: "Fuel is a thriving community with a mission of fostering collaboration and education among security professionals from all over the world.
"Participation can help members better protect their respective organisations from the latest cyber threats and contribute to the future of cyber security where the balance of power has shifted from cyber criminals to security professionals."
